| BARCLAYS
SITESAVERS |
A partnership
between Barclays Bank, Groundwork, The Wildlife
Trusts and BTCV. This programme helps people
get more involved in making decisions about
where they live, and to understand the benefits
sustainable development can bring. SiteSavers
can help people improve the appearance of
their streets, parks and estates and encourage
them to lead healthier lifestyles. Successful
projects help communities to get to know
their
neighbours and can reduce actual crime and
the fear of crime.

IN BLOOM |

tiny rural villages to the largest cities, all
bringing a great deal of horticultural skill and
huge enthusiasm to one common aim: to regenerate
local
environments, both locally and nationally, by the imaginative planting
of trees and shrubs, flowers and landscaping and by dealing with local
environmental issues, such as litter, graffiti and vandalism.

into an environmental community resource.

are available and guidance and eligibility
notes are provided on the website.
